What is Social Distancing?

As defined by the CDC, social distancing is "keeping a safe space between yourself and other people who are not from your household." In other words, staying at least 6 feet away from people who aren't in your family to prevent catching or spreading the coronavirus.

Does Social Distancing Really Help?

Sure does!

Social Distancing is crucial to staying safe. Keeping far away from others outside of your immediate family can keep you safe, by limiting your exposure to the virus. In addition, you can keep others safe! When you're young, you are less likely to show symptoms and may not know you have COVID-19. By keeping a safe 6 feet, you can protect those around you as well as yourself. Double win!
